Following the winning of the PetSafe grant, the project team launched the full fundraising efforts to build downtown’s first dog park and associated parking lot improvements. Similar to other developments along the Milwaukee River, the City of Milwaukee is committed to funding the onsite public Riverwalk connections. Fundraising is currently underway and building support from every type of stakeholder, from hundreds of individual citizen donors to non-profit partners to corporate sponsors.
