Dogs of Downtown: Keiler, Jupiter, and Benito

Meet Keiler, Jupiter, and Benito

What’s better than one dog? Two dogs! And what’s better than two dogs? Three dogs! Keiler, or Kei, is an eight-year-old Plott Hound mix rescue from Mississippi. Jupiter, also called Jupie or Jupes, is a five-year-old Redbone Coonhound Vizsla mix rescue from Alabama. Benito, nicknamed Beni Boy, is a two-year-old Newfoundland Mini Poodle.

The dogs live downtown together and love being outside, sunning, and people/dog-watching. A few days a week they all walk to the lakefront for sunrise and hike the Kettle Moraine Forest on weekends. They can’t wait to play with more dogs once the MKE Dog Park opens.

Favorite toy: Keiler loves playing with sticks, Jupiter likes anything that squeaks or has stuffing that she can tear apart. Benito likes to play fetch and is obsessed with any toy that his sisters are playing with.

Favorite patio: They all grew up at Café Hollander- Downer. They also frequent Club Charlies, Camp Bar- Third Ward, and Café Benelux.

Favorite treat: Eggs, chicken, and peanut butter. Keiler lovers her fruits and veggies, but Jupiter and Benito are picky with human food. They also enjoy soup bones and Stella and Chewy’s Meal Mixers.

Favorite spot downtown: The lakefront- McKinley Park and Veterans Park!
