This summer has been a blast! We can’t believe how many fun events there were, not only for the humans but for the dogs too. Before the weather starts to tail off and the leaves start changing colors, we have a few more events coming up that support the MKE Dog Park.
Yappy Hour in the Yard at the Iron Horse Hotel
August 31, 6-10 pm
Join us, back in the Yard, for another happy hour with live music by Joe Wray and a full slate of local vendors. For every Iron Horse Pilsner bought, one dollar will go towards the MKE Dog Park. It’s a dog-friendly event, so don’t forget to bring your furry friends with you!
Third Ward Art Festival at Broadway & St Paul
September 3-4, 10 am- 4 pm
Take a stroll with your dog through the showcase of art in the Historic Third Ward and enjoy the variety of art available, including ceramics, fiber, glass jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, painting, furniture, and more from over 120 juried artists. You’ll find food from neighboring restaurants and live music at the festival. All tips from the bar will be going towards the MKE Dog Park.
Fromm Petfest at Henry Maier Festival Park
September 24, 10 am- 6 pm
This year will be the 9th year of Fromm Petfest- celebrating our pets at a free, family-friendly festival. This year’s festivities include dock diving, lure and agility courses, live music, shopping, food and more. For a full lineup, visit petfestmke.com
